Flathead Lake on a pontoon?
« on: Apr 14, 2017, 08:02 AM »
I've heard rumors the perch bite is on at Flathead Lake. My wife and I have 8' framed pontoons. How reasonable is it to take them out on East Bay? I've never fished Flathead Lake. Thanks in advance.

I picked up a boat recently, but the Mercury outboard is not operational yet.

very reasonable if you keep an eye on the weather.

We went ahead and tried it. The only issue we ran into was the water level. At Ducharme the water was a long ways from he bank and the mud was too soft to walk on. So we put in at the point.  No luck fishing though.
