Water is over our break wall lapping at my neighbors house in blind creek cove. Typically 2.5-3' down on the wall this time of the year. Maybe this will bring back the days of clear water in the pond.

If anything it adds a ton of nutrients to the water which should be great for the food chain.

with all the camps  and homes   close to the water with  septic tanks and leach fields  it  adds other nutrients to the water  too....

It will add for sure. Back in the day, 80's, you'd never look at that new ramp area as an ice fishing access due to very sketchy ice from the flow of the creek running into the pond, steelies and salmon would run that creek. We stopped getting higher flows from that creek, south pond and Lindsey creek and the sand started filling the outlet all the way into the island and at the same time the water went cloudy from most likely all of the phosphates from camps. maybe some of this filling and emptying will reverse some of that. Obviously this year is a little much though. Only thing constant is change. Hope it goes down so people can get out soon. Docks are still in the yard due to the high water.

Yo Guys & Gals,

Have you been watching TV at all?  Cathy and Cheryl at Green Point have been on the news, sloshing around in there shop floor with 6 inches of water in the building. They as well as many others are experiencing significant losses. Not only in property but business losses as well. Let's keep all who are affected by this high water in our prayers.
