Looking to take my 7 yr old son out this weekend for some panfish action. I know champy pretty well but looking to try this spot for the first time as it looks less likely we will be getting blown off with winds after a 2hr trip from outside Albany. Wondering the conditions and if anyone has been on the gills perch and crappie up there recently? We usually hit Cossayuna lake for the pannies but may be staying up there this weekend.
