Cottonwood was bad. Like it was snowing a couple times..  But the fishing was good....

That cottonwood can be quite the pain!  Great pics...I should rock the billed crankbaits more often.  Have to appreciate a rock bass eating a crankbait!

1/2 oz. Rat-l-Trap in Crawfish.  Absolute killer in spring and fall.  Or my favorite bait to toss around the slop/trees/stumps/rip rap, Zoom Super Fluke in white, rigged on a 3/0 or a 4/0.  I'll use a weighted worm hook in spring, but that comes off as soon as I see weeds.  I throw that right up to ice in.  It's my 'confidence' bait, for sure.
