First Its Cats In My Pits.....Now Its.....
« on: Jun 28, 2017, 06:58 AM »
Surprise critters in my garden. Caught this hole digger last night.

Transported to the park down the road, Pepe La Pew was released without incident or tomato juice baths.

Thought I was after a red squirrel. :-\

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Had one in mine earlier this season as well. Very surprised how easy she was to transport - ie no spraying. I thought for sure I was going to get sprayed, completely covered head to toe with "protective gear". I likely looked ridiculous.

I've released a couple. Covering the trap is a key I think. That and make sure you point the end you're going to open towards the woods ;D

Really, they just meander away.

Well RG , if you have critters that must mean your garden has a 5 star ⭐️ Critter rating

I was thinking about what I would do if I got sprayed. I could just picture walking into Walmart to buy tomato juice and smelling like I had a skunk in my pocket. Then....how about going to my part time job at Lowes. That would have been problematic to say the least.

And then there would have been the ride home in my truck.......none of them enjoyable scenarios.

Anyway, the little guy was quite cooperative and I hope he loves his new home.......better than my garden anyway.
