 Yup Trap,

 I am not making much venison stroganoff these days. I am down to a couple rump roasts. I have eaten quite well off of road kill in the past. I'm not proud how I put it in the freezer.  :angel: :evil: :angel: :evil:

 I guess you can tell when a thread has expired it's initial impact when we start talking about road kill eh?

Since the 'fishgut' issue is settled  ::)......what about the practice of hanging roadkill groundhogs from trees overhanging prime creekbanks?

You have those in Connecticut? Then I'm guessing they are found throughout New England?

stone  the road kill boggey and I  joke about was a huge doe  hit fresh in front of us when we went  ice fishing ,we joked about it as we  went  fishing  ,I am happy someone did pick it up and it  didn't  just rott.....  as  far as  hanging a  dead animal over water is  something that's  been put in  field and  stream  infisherman  and  my  personal favorite fur fish and game .....  now  you  play  with words  and rotting animals   i'm going fishing and    filleting  my perch in the  boat and  tossing the  guts  overboard  ;D......I seen a  woodchuck  down the road ...ya want him?

Up by me we have lots of them.  Lately though Ive been dealing with some fun face to face encounters with 2 local black bears that love our garbage.
