State Park Kayak launching..ocean
« on: Aug 07, 2017, 11:50 AM »
I posted this on Stripersonline as well, but figured I could get more answers if I posted here too.

"Hey all, I was just wondering about the rules regarding launching kayaks from the beaches at Maine's state parks? I am getting ready to take the new Hobie PA 12 out on the salt,  and was wondering about launch points. I cannot find anything definitive on the maine.gov site. Thanks for any help on this one."

As far as I know there are no regulations for launching kayaks fresh or salt.  As long as it doesn't have a motor there's no registration requirement.  If you can find access to water you can launch it.
