Solar eclipse effect on fish?
« on: Aug 19, 2017, 11:39 PM »
So a buddy and I at work talk alot about fishing. We started talking about the Eclipse and how we should wear eyewear to watch it. Then he says "How do u think that effects the fish"? I said since its too bright to look at maybe it draws the fish deeper. He heard that forrest animals become confused by the sudden dim and they assume night is falling so they may roam around, he says maybe fish cruise around not hide out.... What are your theories on this?  cause I doubt theres been much if any study on it

All I know is I experienced one in Mass when I was a kid and all the squirrels came out with lots of birds sounds like it was dusk.  I think they were confused.  ;D
