I've caught some pretty wild brook trout this year but this guy just took cake.  shocked

Don't go complaining to NHF&G about small salmon, when you, just like everybody else, catches and keeps all of the 20'' salmon you catch....

yes, the males are just starting to get the hump backs.  Can't see it in the pic, but that one had quite the ferocious teeth on it as well.

Are you sure it's not a female? The head looks like a female although there is some nice color on the flanks.

I have no idea, I didn't mean to imply it's a male when I said "this guy" in first post, my bad.  

It can be hard to tell the gender when they're under 12" or so.  Then it becomes more obvious when they get bigger/later into the season.
