Just a couple pics from this spring.
Had a bumper crop of blueberries , and Mother Nature sent her guard to watch over them .

What kind of snake is that? I have seen water snakes that look similar.

I believe it's a northern water snake. From what I've researched there are several color variations.

Yes water snake i have been keeping and breeding snakes for over 30 years and that's a really colorful northern for sure

That's a great picture of the Northern water snake. There use to be a lot of big ones in Shaker bog and Panther run I have seen some 6' long  but not in the last 20 years.

They are harmless! They are quite territorial but non-venomous. Most common snake in the Northern US.
