X2     Unless you have a cooler to hang in that's the program for warm weather.
Had a huge doe come in Sunday morning, and I had the same idea as mcully. She was a monster big old gal with no fawns in tow. As I faced her I felt the slight breeze on the back of my neck. The morning wind direction had switched 180 degrees since day break. You guessed it, she winded me, ran back to a safe distance, and proceeded to blow and blow. Every deer in a half mile radius knew the gig. Good to get in a stand! Good luck to all, and keep the wind in your face!   :P

Yeah Ken, they chopped 80 acres of corn in two days. And trucked it to South Town! Quite the feat for man and machine. Now the geese have a nice place to land and spend the day.

My wife thinks I'm nuts but I have 2 refrigerators in our galley kitchen. 5 gallon buckets fit nicely in one of them so no rush to clean a late afternoon catch and plenty of room for deer quarters or boned out bigger cuts. I don't like cutting things up in a cold garage anymore and she's pretty tolerant. Live fish flopping around sometimes gets me a sideways look.

Nice job deeds.

I have seen a couple small bucks still hanging together this week.

My camera action has picked up this week too.
