Thanks guys for your imput and sharing your experience and knowledge. I have talked the better half into buying 2 president xt's with medium-light one piece rods. She likes fishing as much as me so I will let her use my old setups until she figures out I have better equipment. Usually she is busy tending to our german shorthair pointer who demands to go fishing with us. He loves the water and the ducks,geese and seagulls keep him intrigued.
