A new state record river muskie was caught recently. It was 28 lb, ¼ oz caught by Matt Beall of Hagerstown. Complete Story: http://www.dnr.state.md.us/fisheries/fishingreport/freshwater.html

LOL SB! We have it pretty good down here for just about any species. I look forward to my trips out of state too, like your neck of the woods. Just fishing somewhere different is cool. I'd have to go back and check, but I think that the record tiger muskie is bigger (since they've been around a lot longer) than this one. The good thing is that these river muskie populations have really taken off!
