 Finished up 10 pounds of venison bologna today. Used the spice blend from the Sausage maker in Buffalo. Gave it about 1 1/2 hours of smoke and then brought it up to 158 degrees slowly in the oven . It came out amazing

That’s what I’m shootings for, just need to make a big enough bag.

Maybe I’ll take it out of the aluminum pan and then vacuum seal it. Could even break it up into 2 or 3 meals now that I think of it

   Guess what I took out of the freezer for dinner..

We already ate the lasagna we had in the freezer.

Might just have to make some for Sunday dinner with our neighbor. I can use his venison sausage for the meat.

Chicken Kiev tonight. Sides of red taters and steamed spinach.

First try at the chicken. We’ll see how it goes.

Epic fail!!!!!
Cooked to recipe, cut into chicken and it totally raw inside.

The spinach nd potatoes were just fine.

Have to try this one again I guess.

Put ribs in smoker at 11 this morning finished off with BBQ sauce in broiler and hand mashed sweet potatoes was very good!!

We did 2 racks today also.
My kids were all here.
I seared them on the Webber and finished in the oven in foil tins with some sauce and a little apple juice.
Kelly made baked beans.
Jeff made a real serious antipasto.
Chris made fries in the air frier.
Good family dinner.

Boiled cabbage tonight with some pork steaks done on the grill.
Donna and I love boiled cabbage with butter and S&P.
Lots of cabbage and a bit of pork.
Life is good.
