awesome, thanks alot guys, we caught at least 75 of the lil buggers.  The first one was a real shocker though, we've never seen any catfish around these parts.  Pretty cool how my Yellow/blk shad was the identical color of the catfish.  Anyways, i'll post some pics of the Walleye we caught, couple 7-9 pounders both caught and released.

Before you spent the time to clean a pail of them, clean one or two and make sure they taste OK. Bullheads can be just fine for eating, or they can be . I think it has more to do with their diet than anything, but bullheads can go either way regardless of the water temp. I have caught them through the ice and they tasted like turd snappers, and I have gotten them from warm murky waters and they were OK.

Sask. has 2 bullhead cat fish species the brown and the black.

I think those guys are the brown bullheads.

Neat color to it, and great size for a bullhead.  8)

Look in the the Clean-em Cook-em Eat-em board here (http://www.myfishfinder.com/fishing_forum/index.php?board=183.0).
A lot of people eat bullhead and catfish and they're quite tasty if prepared correctly...

Don't count them out because of a little farm runoff! Some of the best tasting bullheads I have ever eaten have come out of a lake with the darkest water I have ever seen. The water in this particular lake flows in through bogs and farm country. The water is very "fertile", but the fish are very good to eat.
