Shimano Moocher, I loved mine before it fell off the back of the boat. It's in Richardson if anyone drags it up!

I decided to go with the moocher I had (Daiwa). got the entire spool on, however it doesn't fit into the reel seat on the rod, so I threw it onto an ugly stick. Still happy with the decision, although I can turn the the drag knob forever without tightening the drag itself...It's like opening a door with a key that barely works.

There's something wrong with your drag then, unscrew the drag button take the reel apart and reseat. The drag should adjust.
