Fished that same day in the northern part of the state. We went out for blue gill but after 2 hours with one bite we switched to minnows. The action was fast and furious. We boated 21 total, the largest being 14” with the average size being 11”. 12 of the 21 ended up being females with eggs which shocked us

Great way to spend a day Ben. Cherish the times like this with the little ones. They grow up so fast. My little one will be driving next year. It seems like it was last week when she told Papa it's time to go fishing.
