I'm a new comer to this site and I just found this board. I love to fish but I love golf even more. I just got my first round of the year in yesterday. An 84 in sloppy and windy conditions. I guess it will have to do for now. RG did you guy's get together last year for an outing? That would be cool but I might be to far away for it

Here in Calgary we actually had a couple weeks of nice weather, so me and a bud went out and did a round last week (first one of 2005). Temp tee boxes and Temp greens but still good to hit a few balls.

Heading to the Mayan Rivera in two weeks and doing a couple rounds as well.

Vancouver I just got done with my second round a while ago. This one was much better with a 75. Thats more like it.

. My low round is 79, but I've only been playing seriously for about 2 years so it could be worse.

Pikeguy for only playing two years and being in the 70's in very good. My low round ever is a 68 from the back tees but I've been playing for 20 years. My USGA handicap is narmally a 2 to 4 so if I'm not in the low to mid 70's I'm loosing money every time I play

and you thought you had it bad. 68 is a dream score. I dream of 68 after the first 8 holes then know wont get it done after nine

Hey, you gotta start somewhere. If you play 2-3 times a week with decent golfers willing to help, you WILL get better.
