Cat Fishin 5/19/09

Hit the NB yesterday from 2:30 PM 'till 1:45 AM. JiggerJim appeared around 3 PM & fished "till around 7:30. He had one good run but missed it. I caught one cat at 5:30 but it was on the small side. A little before dark I saw what I thought was a jitterbug comming across the river towards me. Turned out to be a bat that had hit the water & was swimming for the shore. He crawled on to dry land & stayed there a long time before he flew again.
At 9 PM my rods got active & I had decent action 'till a little after midnight. After that I only got two more cats & I ran out of chubs so I wrapped up at 1:45. I kept a tally of the cats & ended up with 31. The three biggest were, 28.5 inches & 8 lbs, 30 inches & 12 lbs & 27 inches & 8.5 lbs. Real good after dark bite!

Good job Skammer(the Catman).
Good thing your catchin' all them cats....they were pretty fat, and looked like they needed the exercise.
