Fished yesterday from 7.30 AM to 6 PM. The carp had lockjaw. Only managed two small ones, one only went 6 lbs & the other one was only around 14 inches. Very little surface activity & the ones that did jump were all small. I guess all that high water killed the bite. The temp in the Am was a little over 40 degrees & a guy came out on what looked like a surf board dressed in shorts & a tee shirt & was paddling around. Never saw that kind of a set up before. I had an Osprey feeding in the area all day so watching him helped pass the time.
