its not a monster but biggest i have caught about 3lbs caught it at whalom lake, i was told theres no smallmouth in there so this was an awsome surprize

nice fish!  congrats!  ;D I love SMB, a 3lb SMB is a better fight (IMO) than a 4.5 lb LMB

i agree!  i fish for largmouth all the time (everyday almost for atleast and hour) went yesterday for my favarite pond and landed 11 largemouth and 2 pickerel got home and my brother wanted to hit whalom we got 3 bass there including the smallmouth and another 2 pickerel and i could have just got that smallmouth and i would have been happy haha
