Tied some gill/crappie flies

take a kid hunting and fishing, it's a lot better than leaving them on the streets!!

I saw this housefly tie on Brown Trout Nation (Facebook) by someone that goes by the moniker Fly Tying Art Gdg.

I thought it was pretty cool!

Tax...that house fly fly looks great but too complicated for me...my luck I'd spend half hour on it and firstime using it a bat or blue bird would pick it out of the air...lol

I have done a few of the realistic ties  years ago the yellow jacket and spider  lot of fun to do and show off  ...... not practical to fish  panfish foam spiders  bead head nymphs and a few may fly or caddis  work well ......I like ice johns comets  they look good for crappie
