Smelt1 - try using some marjoram all by itself sometime.  It is really good on trout/salmon.  Just rub/sprinkle it inside and out.  Add some to your broth if you are baking it.

I like your choice of spices.  Sounds great!  Just switch the rice for a wild-rice blend and the rolling rocks for a couple of LaBatt's Blue and you are right up my alley!!

Cider, I save my marjoram for pheasant season.Nothing like rubbing it on fresh baked pheasant.As for pulling out the rolling rocks its because my youngest son allready drank all the Labbatts ;D blue.The wife and I have a rather large herb garden and I've been experimenting with alot of herbs.Plus one of my younger brothers is a master chef out in San Fransico so he sends me plenty of game & fish recipes to try.
