I usually buy 3 or 4 pumpkins after Halloween. I leave them in the leaf pile and the deer dig them up during the winter. Gives them something other than our bird feeders to munch on.

I always bring home the rotting ones from work and smash them up for the squirrels out at the end of my lawn.
Just started feeding the birds last week and there are a lot of hungry squirrels out there. Need to get the air rifle out and put some in the freezer..

Broke out my bird feeders today. Gave them a good scrape and hit them with some rust converter. I’ll give them a new coat of paint tomorrow.
Put the bluebird feeder out yesterday after seeing 3 of them for the first time. Downeys have been snooping around for a free meal too.
I mixed some red pepper flakes with the seed. The squirrels didn’t like it. Birds didn’t mind a bit.
