The big lake was fickle but I was able to land one laker around 32". I think they are still spawning. Keeping the small boat running until ice up. Great scenes with the mountains covered in snow. Water temp 46.

Nice view, I put my boat away last week and I'm just stream fishing now. I did notice a lot of boats locally this past weekend on the water taking advantage of the weather.

Good for you to keep the open water season going as long as you can (and one heckuva catch)!
Looking forward to hard water season myself.

Thats a good one! I'm more than ready for ice.

Hit the swift a couple weekends ago in a drizzly Sunday. Sadly after my NY trip I never put my small nymph boxes back in my vest so I was throwing meat. Typical a fruitless effort in a tailwater where usually smaller is better. I annoyed one brown enough to get him to smash my small streamer. Was prob close to 20” and very solid.
Beautiful fish!
