No this time it was in the CT river headed back to the slip.

Sorry to hear that, CT River has those random rockpiles all over the place.

Sure does and I typically dont fish in there so I have no clue where the unmarked ones are.

I hit one a few years back but just dinged the prop a bit as I was going slow. Was lucky.   Anytime I'm out of the middle of channel now I dump the trolling motor in. I've also way-pointed a number of them. You can actually see some (and they are labeled) on Google Maps satellite images.  Hope you get back on the water. Prime time.

We'll see Bart.  I was told I snagged the last new lower for a df250 in North America.  Meantime I've been beating on the trout pretty good.

Fished the housy last night.  Cloudy and drizzle with a flow around 800 made for a comfortable evening.  Fishing was decent with a few stockers.  I did get tricked by what I thought was a massive wild brown...that turned out to be a giant sucker.   Thing almost ran me into my backing.  Pats rubber legs on point with a waltz dropper performed rather equally.  Leaf hatch was minimal without wind, still lots of leaves to drop.

Its how it seems every year.  Some days are worse than others until they are all down.

I remember one trip years ago we kept thinking the "Acorn Rises" were trout...

That would trick me.  Ive been known to send a dry fly or 2 in the direction of rises that turned out to be fallfish or even rockbass.

Lol!

Here is a decent rainbow from Northern most NH, Pittsburg and from the trophy stretch. Felt good to pull 2 of these out on the fly rod considering 20 other guys fishing near me did not catch anything in the hour I was there. Nymphing.

Love it Mike!  Have to have you come to my neck of the woods!  Fishing has been good but I like it next month.  Post spawn and streamers is a great time.

Housy yesterday afternoon didnt let me down.  Caught a few bows and a real nice tiger trout.  All on a pats rubber legs.  Flow was perfect and the water is clear.  I want to throw big streamers but the 6w is broken and at thomas and thomas getting repaired.

Bummer about the Thomas & Thomas.

Awesome about the tiger though.  They're awfully rare, and they put up one helluva fight.

Ive heard some guys say this is the first time they stocked them in the housy.  I like them.

Tigers are lots of fun, use to fish a Pond in NH that had them, and a few times they would be busted like Blue fish on pogies and just as easy to catch!
