Thar be silver...

Props to Bigr.

It's 68 miles from driveway to Jalapa. Fished in the rain Wednesday afternoon and dropped the
hammer on the white bass.  Nearly all males and good size.  1/8 oz ball head with a number  1
hook with a 2 1/2 inch kaiten ribbed swimbait.  At the time the river was just starting to rise again.

For anyone that knows  -  Did they get all of the ramp repairs done before the water came back up?

Ramps all open and ready except a little to be done on the one at camp ground, closest to dam. Crappie had moved in the river also. They still be there but the rains will make you hunt new spots til it goes back down.

Added note.  Between 5:30 PM on Wednesday and 10:00 AM the next day (thurs),
the Missy gage at Marion showed a rise of about 6 feet.
