Please use this chat board to ask questions about the tournament series, individual events, rules and regulations, etc. This series is going to be nothing short of AMAZING:
*Huge prize packages (100% guaranteed for each event when we reach 250 teams in the Pro and Am divisions for each event)
*4 or 5 ATV's given out AT EACH EVENT, along with other high-end door prizes
*54 premium trophies (at each event) and the coveted Triple Crown Cup Trophy given out at the Sodus Bay Event
*The largest fish of each species will be kept LIVE (if possible) in a 180 gallon custom tank that will be on display
*Large awards ceremonies with possible dinner options
*News coverage
*Up to $2,000 per event being given to the Good Ol' Boys Junior Bassmasters Club of Central NY
*Shotgun start to kick-off each event
*(5) 50/50 raffles at each event

And that's just the beginning!! The series this year will feature events at: Tupper Lake (on Big Tupper), Chautauqua Lake, and Sodus Bay. Register today at www.NYSiceproam.com and be a part of the largest ice fishing events in NYS this winter!!

Pro and Am teams can have one or two people per team, the Open division is like a normal tournament with individual anglers. The regular cost per division per event is: $160 per team for the Pro Division, $90 per team for the Am Division, and $40 per angler for the Open Division. There is also a Triple Crown Calcutta for the Pro Division for $25, and a Lunker Pool for each event for $10.

If you register for the Pro or Am division before Sept. 1, we have a pre-registration promotion of $10 off per event and one free Frabill aeration unit. Right now on the registration site when you choose your options, only the pre-registration prices are shown which include the $10 discount, and the Frabill Aeration Units will be given out at the events. So right now the cost to enter the Pro Division is $150/team/event plus free aerator, Am Division is $80/team/event plus free aerator, and the Open Division remains $40/angler/event.

All this information and much more is stated within the Rules and Regulations file posted on the tournament website. 8)

The only boundaries will be those that are marking areas of unsafe ice, and the entrance to tributaries (considered non-fishable waters). Otherwise, the entire waterway is fair game. However, these events will be kicked off each day with a shotgun start (for Pro and Am teams) from a single access point on the ice for several reasons. See the rules and regulations on the tournament website for specific details. Therefore, you may need a mode of transport to get to the areas of the waterway you wish to fish. If you don't have an ATV yet, you'll have a shot for at least two of them at each event you fish!  8)

Checked out the website. Looks pretty good. Why did you pick Tupper Lake and when will you finish Tuppers' web page? Looks like I am in.

The director of the Northern Challenge (Dave McMahon) is on our tournament committee and through him we have a very strong network up in that region. We've also heard that the fishing is very good on Big Tupper. We will be visiting there at the end of July for several days to meet with the town officials, promotional committees, round up local sponsors, work out some logistics, and tour the lake itself. After that visit we will update the Tupper Event pages on our website with the details we secure during that time.  8)

Tupper will certainly be a challenge. But, that's what it's all about.

And keep in mind, you don't have to catch all of the species for the Pro and Am divisions, just number of fish. We'll be shooting a video later this week that will explain the tournament in gret detail for those a little iffy on the details of this format. I'll put the link up when it's posted! 8)
