i know mine ain't the best lookin mounts by a long shot -some are actually terrible
the wife wouldn't let me put all the fish on the livingroom walls so a few hang downstairs
heres a shot of my basement rec room ----------
42 inch musky-my first ever -- caught back in the mid 80's from lake Erie
7lb largemouth bass - a few years ago -ice fishing
32 inch steelhead/rainbow - Erie trib caught early 90's
heres a shot of the living room wall
22lb lake Erie steelhead caught a couple years back
14lb brown trout from lake Erie caught in the mid 80's
another shot of my best steelhead
I'm still in search of a 16" perch -18" crappie and 20lb northern for the wall- just hope i don't catch em all the same day--couldn't afford that $$$$$$

great mounts guys. They are simply amazing. Are those all skin mounts or are there any mounts that are the recreation kind. I am interested in the recreation mounts do to the fact that I like to release all of my fish but wondered how they looked compared to the skin mounts. Thanks and keep those great mounts comin. I know I sure am gonna try and get a few nice lookin fish like all of yours.

I like the whole graphite replica idea, but I don't have any problem with guys making skin mounts. I've seen some very good replicas and some really poor ones of both types. Those are all some really nice mounts, I don't have any, I have a few pictures that I like a lot and when I'm older and have more $$$ that I may get a graphite replica or two of a bass and a lake trout.

I have a question for those who have skin mounts of fish, like I mentioned earlier in this thread their are two mounted walleye that have been sitting around gathering dust, I would like to hang them on the wall, but they have a thick layer of dust on them from lack of cleaning over the years. What would be safe and good to use to clean these mounts off without damaging them?
Ive been thinking a good damp cloth would do it, but does anybody use any sort of cleaning agent or liquid?

all mine are skin mounts except for the big steelhead -thats fiberglass i think.the taxidermist made the mold for it from the fish itself -you can see every mark and scale that was on the original fish -the replica looks closer to what the actual fish looked like than my skin mounts do and it will last a lot longer. it costs a little more for replica's but its well worth it-i'd never go back to skin mounts

Those are great I can't even tell the difference between the skin mounts and the replica mounts. I always woundered if the replicas were as nice now I know that they are just as good and you will have the replica for a lot longer.Simply amazing mounts guys.
