Fished coal on Friday was alittle cold lol. South boat launch was low wouldn't take my big boat there but alum was fine. Lots of hammer handles. Going back tonight and give it another go.

Stopped at the north end tonight, I have never seen the water level that low in all the years I havee been going there. The complete boat launch is exposed.

Last night when the water was calm I could really see how shallow it is. Think I was out 50' and had to step out of the boat to push it, very shallow. Yes spudman I'm thinkin your correct with the car toppers.

I was there last week,I used my 12 Ft.Alum, and my buddy used his pontoon boat.Neither of us had any problem launching .We fished the North end of the lake. Not one of our greatest days but it was still a good day.

Tons of small jacks(odd big one). Used to be good...but the traffic in the winter is unreal...close lakes to the city get killed usually.
