Chasing them pigs with fins!

AK isn't coming soon enough....can't wait to fight with 1 grizzly for 100,000 fish instead of 1,000 snaggers for 10.

Yup. I've seen a pike take down a duckling before, awesome sight.
"I fish because I love to; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience; because maybe one day I will catch a mermaid; and finally, not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but suspect so many other concerns of men equally unimportant- and not nearly so much fun."

I've caught pike that had fish in them that were large enough that the tail was still sticking out into the mouth.  They were still feeding.

Looks like I'm the frst one that sees otherwise...

I don't believe it.  I can't see a Pike that size swallowing a full grown duck.  The duck would be too wide to fit through the Pike's throat.  Ducks aren't long and skinny like fish are.  I can see Pike attacking ducks that size, but not eating and swallowing them.  A duckling on the other hand is completely understandable.

I believe it.

We had a bullfrog in a 150 gal pound in the backyard eat a duckling.  My wife place the little baby duck in the pond and SPLASH...the darned frog grabbed the duck....my wife screamed, jumped into the pond..grabbed the frog..pried it's mouth open and rescued the duck.  Sadly, the duckling died a short time later.

Frog 1: duck 0

Tears still come to my eyes when I think of that story  :rotflol: :rotflol: :rotflol:
