7:25 Sunday morning at an undisclosed location.  ;)
Not long after I got out of the tent. I hear what I thought were paddles and a canoe approaching our camp site. Rubbed the crap out of my eyes and almost freaked out. A mare and her yearling calf. 1 of the coolest experiences in all my years camping.
I'm a little upset with myself for taking off without the good camera...AGAIN!!! I'll camp this pond every chance I get until I get a better pic or snow flies.

A couple officers I chatted with said they are regulars there.
I'm confident I'll get some better pics Sunday if I can get lucky enough to have the pond to myself again.
I don't care if I catch another fish this year. My expectations for the year were far surpassed with those moose. Even if I don't get another shot.

I hope you do get another shot at them, and a mess of fish to boot! Good luck.  ;D

I've fished it for hours on end. I catch 15 bass for every trout I get. Extremely frustrating. Can't bring myself to kill a trout there because of the catch ratio, but I have to release all the dang bass for a few more weeks.  >:(
I've got to take my canoe 2 miles away to get into some decent brookies. Which, I'll have no problem doing this weekend once my visitors leave.  ;D

Stay dry. Storms Saturday afternoon and cold and wet Sunday. I think Sunday morning should be pretty good. Good luck.  Put the hammer on them! I'm going to get out there sometime Sunday after I get the garden in. ;D

Lol. Mine won't go anymore. She used to, but now I leave her a topo map of where I'm going, tell her when to expect me back, and she says, "Have a good time." .... and then she texts me all night if there's service.
She got Lyme disease BAD a few years ago and that still bothers her.

Mine joined me 2 years ago on that hike you did last weekend. Once!
I went 1 pond further too. She would have killed me by the end of it if she could stand up on her own.  ;D

Stayed near home this weekend with my face in a book in lieu of getting drenched.
I forsee my summer being consumed thanks to George Martin. Good thing I've got kids to row.  ;D
