Beer belly bob good job on the walleyes, we’re you trolling or jigging. H2l next week looks very good weather wise. Pisces man black seems to work.

BBB thanks for that info, this week looks good for fishing. Looks like it will be a little cooler weather wise.

Like this cooler weather, 54* this morning. Way to go BBB. Dave (SacandagaDave) the guide, said he hasn't had much luck with the spinners this year. He is trolling spoons most of the time. I see that the water level has dropped 1 and 1/2 feet this past week...h2l

I have had one specific color outshine all the others I always try different colors when I’m out but always end up running that same color on every pole by the end of the morning.I also replace the hook with a slow death hook I think they make a huge difference

Hope to get out tomorrow, maybe find some keeper walleyes. The stockpile is getting low, will report when I get back.

I buy them pre tied I’ve got 3 boxes full of different colors but still seem to use the same few colors year after year

Went out this morning, got 2 keepers trolling right away. Made two more passes with no hits, went out deeper marked some fish but they didn’t want to hit. At noon time they started hitting our jigs, caught 11 walleyes but only ended with 5 keepers. Stayed till 2:00, it was a fun day. Most fish went for a black and chartreuse jig with worm. Here’s a picture.

That is a good day. I thought you might have been into some fish, I went by the launch about 2pm and you weren't in yet. I am going out in the morning, hope it isn't a "you should have been here yesterday" type of day...h2l

H2l now I know why you jig all the time, nothing feel better than lifting your jig and feeling that tug on your line. I caught a bass and thought he got off but he was coming up faster than I was reeling and shot out of the water with the jig in his mouth. Had a great time.

Nice job Hunts2long,  brookies are on my radar for the next few weekends but I might sneak a few hours in for some walleye
