It will get better Buckeyes. At least you didn't get skunked!

I was out for a couple hours as well. 1 keeper and 1 short and dropped a couple.

got out for a few today finally. Dave and I hit Pottygut- johnsons 0 eyes 1 sheep then we found a nice pod of male perch 9-11 inches in johnsons and brought 30 to the knife. Solid first trip and some fresh fillets, can't complain  ;D

d**n. the lake is tough right now. Was out early and picked up 3 between two of us. Dropped couple other fish. Nothing like last couple years. Guess it makes you work harder for your catch. Going to have to try DIFFERENT AREAS!!
Sometimes it's not the spots as much as its time of day you are targeting
most of the eyes I've cleaned already this season are full of bait fish, and I mean full ,can't believe they are even biting at all,
mainly small perch and buckeyes haven't seen a goby in a stomach yet, bucktails have been tough to trigger a bite so far for myself anyhow
