Sores on a pike?
« on: May 16, 2007, 08:52 AM »
A friend of mine caught this pike out of Braddocks Bay yesterday and it had some masive sores on it. Could it be VHS?

Is there lampreys or parisites that could do that in the area?

Looks a lot like hemophragic? crap similar to the issues in Lake Saint Clair and the Detroit River. Hope this is an isolated speciman. You should forward a pic to your local DNR asap.
Look...Is it a plane? train? a speeding bullet? ...No...it's a Rock Bass!http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u61/RLWagner/th_5d7a43d1.jpg[/img]
