Sounds like a good plan.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I always like it when my son helps me with a project. Teaches a bit of patience in this instant gratification world. Shows that work delivers reward in a job well done. Good job ATC and kin!

Some of my fondest memories were when my son would help my in the cabinet shop or out on the job. Doesn’t matter whether we’re playing golf, working in the shop or just kicking back. He’s my best friend and there’s a lot of respect between us.

It’s what life is all about. Damned lucky, I am.

I get the privilege of working with my father every day. I'm lucky. He is my best friend. Have been working with him every day for the last 25 years.....

That’s pretty darned good. I might go do some part time mowing on the golf course with my son. He’d be my boss. Different for sure. Could be fun.

Nice, I worked for my dad for awhile and we didn't get along at work. Fishing or hunting with him was great, loved that

When my dad and I built my house we didn't always see eye to eye on things but got the job done. When my son and I renovated his house I would ask him how he wanted to do things. We had a lot of fun doing it,and we still work well together. Now his son is renovating a house and the three of us are having a good time working together. My dad had to do everything his way or else, had to remind him who was paying for it. May he rest in peace, I still miss him.

I know what you mean iceman.  Me and dad got along great until we had a big job to do. He was in construction most of his life.. When I built my house I told him I’m doing it my way and he was not happy a lot of the time and left .  But I did it my way ..... ;)

A friend of mine wanted a rustic looking cooler box for his deck. 100% recycled pallet wood.  Came out pretty good.  Polyurethane tomorrow

I like it. I should make something like that for center station on my horseshoe pits.

Neighbor gave me another piece of that acacia butcher block. This piece is 8’ long and 6” wide. Guess I’m making about 16 cheese boards out of it for the market.
