The perch were Hungary today ,but the wind was my enemy ,it picked up pretty good by 11 and I headed back in at 1 .most fish were the average size of 8.5 to 9 .i had a few that were close to 10 ,and lost some real toads at the boat .all in all a pretty decent day.im probably going to regret putting my boat up for winter but I'll just have to chase them if we get decent ice

What depths are you finding perch this time of year? I would love to chase some on lakes I fish, but don't know much about this time of year.

Interesting on the 9' as I was trolling common twister tails at Maxi about one week ago in 10' or less and caught two chunky 12" perch with attitudes.  I have always thought to look deep but apparently they are cruising the shallows...
