what kind of shades do you like the best? lens color ? glass lens or ? i'm looking for a good quality all around pair used mostly for fishing; salt, fresh, and ice. right now i'm leaning towards green mirror glass lenses. thanks

I wear Oakley Half Jackets with a polarized lens, but I can switch them out with an orange lens for those rainy days.  If I had it to do all over again though I would go with Ocean Waves

Smith/Action Optics Maverick.  Great polarization, scratch resistance, and comfort.  Amber colored glass lenses.  Wear everyday and love 'em.  Mine are the photochromic model, they change shades very quickly.  Look at my avatar to see them...j/k.  Here's a link.

Walmart has some in the fishing section for like $18 that work great.  I have had a pair for 3 years.  KTP has some that float for like $25 down in fishing those work well until you loose them.

When you consider the number of times my glasses get lost, dropped in the lake  ::), crunched, and scratched, you can't beat the polarized strike kings at Wal-Mart for five or six bucks!  :D

You betcha, I'm not paying too much either. I never pay more than about $30, no matter what they always end up lost or destroyed.

I used to by cheap glasses myself, so I never took care of them.  I have a pair of prescription Ray-Bans for about 5 years now.  The more you pay the better you take care of your glasses.
