Many limits of perch today. Next few days are going to be the best.

Good to hear you got some. Where did you put in. Don't get on the big lake much but when i do i stick to Burns. Kinda been boycotting NW Corner IN  / Chicago for about 5 yrs or better now

Put in for free at Hammond marina. 5 minute boat ride.

I guess i can break my rules, i have to go to Hessville for all star tourney starting Wed night.

if u dump ur boat in at cal parks launch you better have an illinois liscense. if u go inside the mouth of the river u better have the ill license too.
its more than catching food, its also catching a piece of mind and integrity within

I believe the perch season is closed in July except for kids under the age of 16 in IL.

It is, so, if they want to fish on Lake Michigan they need to give our poor state a little revenue.

thursday i heard was slower according to my buddies. they both managed to get 30 10-12 inchers. took em 4 hours to do so.

Saw this on another site..from July 19th..

YP fishing continues to be slow in southern LM. Anglers launching out of Portage Marina reported hit or miss action this week at the doughnut which is located just E of the Port of Indiana. MC boat anglers report action has improved slightly since last week. Several limits of YP have been reported from the Black’s Ditch/Mt. Baldy area but anglers needed to sort through a bunch of little one. Minnows were the top producing bait fish right on or near the bottom in 16-21 FOW.
Crappie, Bass, Gills, Eyes, Pike, anything that swims!!
