I have seen some nice catches out of the LaPorte lakes this spring. Good luck to all that fish it and - of course - it is for a good cause.

I will fish it if I don't have to work theres a lot of 10" plus ears in pine and a lot of gills over 9" should be a good time either way bout a week before the bed rape begins

With the temps in the 16 day, I would bet the bed rape will be in full swing during the event.

Is there a bonus if you catch the alligator?  (Better watch your hand grabbing for that bluegill over the side of the boat - something may be there to grab you ! ! !)

LOL....I read that,   Alligator prowling around Pine lake.   It gives to meaning to cleaning off the anchor aye

Hope lots of fish are caught and all have a good time. FOF always have great events. I won't make this years event due to the Indiana Musky Classic. Can't wait to see pictures

The growth rate of gators in Indiana is fantastic.  Just a week or so ago it was reported to be a mere 2.5 - 3 foot gator.  Wonder if there is any fish left in those lakes for people to catch?
