They bite better when you ate bass fishing it seems! If you like pike hold them horizontally. If you want less of them in paradox hold them vertically 
yeah, I know all about how to hold them properly, and vertically damages them.... he was only vertical for those 8 seconds in the video clip to really show his size. I don't think 8 seconds would keep him going belly up. Could be wrong tho.... but that fish took off like he was upset off.
actually looking back at it, I think your talking about my 44" northern that wasn't caught on paradox. Actually it was caught in the saratoga county.. That fish was only vertical for under 10 seconds as well. My dad just happened to snap that pic when I was walking onto my front deck.
