Made quick trip up the Wabash just upstream from Lagro. Water clarity was very good and level was way down. Near perfect conditions. Fished about an hr only catching one eye that went just over 16". A few other fishermen upstream were catching several crappie with some in the 12 to 14in range but most 8 to 10. They were fishing just out of current in semi slack areas. The next few weeks will be very good as long as the water stays the way it is now. I plan on a float trip sometime mid may with expectations of a mixed bag.
