Myself the wife and the kids went out for a bit and ended up with a nice mess of shrooms , and while they kept looking and played I was able to pick off about 10 eater gills to go with the shrooms ! Gotta love when I plan works out !!

Thanks Bishop , they are definitely my favorite food

and I actually found these in northern Laporte county. I would say by next weekend everything should be up with good size . I live in Jasper county and my neighbor has Ben finding Grey's in his back yard . It is amusing to me how a hr difference can change nature's time on mushrooms . Today it was 53 there and 60 at home . I guess that's enough to do it ......

A friend and I found a good mess of greys and yellows in newton county today. I found 15 dried up under my pear tree on sunday. Will throw some pics up later. I have a feeling its going to be an epic mushroom season.

Wow man way to go ! Ya it is definitely going to be a good season it started off good for me and some others that I know. I just got out of the woods from turkey hunting just in time as it let loose here ! with all this rain they're calling for there should be some big ones up by this weekend

What's the report? Found just 2 greys and a couple water logged stems today in Adams county. We need some warm weather for the fish and the fungus!! Oh yeah, the mud puddles too!

Nice picture way to get the kids out ! I haven't looked in my area or north of me since we had all the rain last week going to venture out and try to catch some fish tomorrow after turkey hunting I'm a peek around for some mushrooms when done hunting in the morning before I hit the lake

Yeah, they had a blast. The 2 year old can't walk on flat ground let alone a flooded woods in snow boots!!!!! Mud from top to bottom.
