Hit wawasee today, the perch were putting on the feed bag today.I kept 30.Most of them were in the 9 inch range,a few were 10 and 11 inches and 5 were the jumbo variety.Wish I had tomorrow off to do a repeat . Any way it was a great day to be on the water, had the lake to myself only saw two other boats😁

Were they up on the inside weed edges?  I have been thinking about trying the see, I just haven’t found the time.

Went out Saturday from 9 AM to 6PM and caught 16, from 8 to 11 inches. All caught in 2 to 3' of water in weedy flats. Nothing deeper. Talked to a friend who fished the flats on Wawasee and he caught 48 in 40 minutes. He said you could see the schools moving through even with the wind roughing up the visibility.

I have been wanting to squeeze in one more trip this year over there before ice up but we'll see.  Would be fun to see if a guy could get a limit of eyes and perch both in the same day.

Usually when the channels clear out the ice is when the perch start to come in.
