Missouri Trip (pic heavy)
« on: May 15, 2019, 09:31 AM »
I haven't been on here in a couple months now but I figure I'd share some pictures from my trip last week. White bass and hybrids were in really good at the dam. Hit the dam twice while I was there and got my 15 bass limit once and the other time I kept 10 of em. Crappie spawn was all jacked up. Weather was all over the place. Some days were mid 50s and rain other days were upper 70s and bluebird skies...found some banks where I only got males, some with a fanned out tail some without. Other banks I found some females with eggs still. Some spots that should absolutely hold crappie had none. Either way still got my share of em on my favorite go-to...1/16 oz roadrunner. Good mix of black and white crappie. Got some solid largemouth point hopping with a jerkbait and some good ones on the road runner too. Tangled with some big blue cats and spoonbill as well

My fishin partner is always good for a couple cute pics too

What was your favorite to catch. I know when you snag into a spoonbill its like hooking a sailfish for a run or two but those hybrids are hard to beat for a long hard fight.

Oh the spoonbill was ridiculous to fight in the current! 8lb test on a medium action rod didnt help haha but yes you nailed it, definitely the hybrids
