  I'm going fishing out of Marsfield harbor for cod. Anyone know how the fishing has been. And what clothing to wear? Shoes ect.

check with onthewater.com. they give good reports. i am thinking
of trying out by the salem islands.

I've heard some horror stories about going out for Cod during the spring. Cold as hell, windy, and rough. Unruly conditions for your weekend warrior...............
I'd prepare for the worst.............you can always take clothing off.
Good luck............I also hear you can catch cod and pollack from the shore right now...........never tried it.

I hope you fill your freezer. What is the limit on Cod anyways?? Is the limit the same for Haddock or Pollack?

you are alowed 10 fish and the minimum is 23 in.
no fish tastes better than cold water cod.
