« on: Jun 06, 2005, 07:22 PM »
hello.....I come to the VT forum from the MA section in search of some information.  My boss is taking me to northern VT to the Jay Branch (or something like that).  Anyone have any tips or information about it??  Any info is more than appreciated!  THANKS!

Holy Cow, just keep going, you are only a few miles from Canada.  Jay is about 5 miles west of Newport, Vermont on route 101(if memory serves).  Don't know that much about the Jay Branch, according to State of Vermont web page, they stocked 1000 or so 9 inch brookies.  That would lead me to believe that it is a small to medium size stream.  Hope this helps.
