Any lakes open yet
« on: Mar 27, 2023, 08:02 AM »
I did some driving around central and western Hillsborough and Merrimack counties yesterday.
Lakes are still locked in with some strarting to shrink at shore.

Has anyone seen anything open up yet? I have my kayak ready to go

Canobie in Salem/Windham is wide open.
It is understood that fishing licenses, gas, bait, etc., all cost money, but try not to let a limit of trout be your only gauge for success. – Ben Nugent, (NH F&G) Regional Fisheries Biologist

I’m sure you could find a spot down south ..heard massy is open , I would assume the Nashua river and Merrimack … I also received info that there are some spots in the kingston region

Thanks guys.
I am going to do some bank fishing weekdays and kayak on weekends with a partner. Water is too cold to be out alone.
