what streams will be half way descent to fish on friday in the capital region?

mill creek in troy was looking a bit better todaywith good color, still at the top of its banks though.  The poestenkill is still way high, and everything else is probably going to be out the window.  my best guess would be small lowland creeks or those that drain large swamps...best way to tell would be to take a ride tommorrow night and check out your spots on small creeks

The Snook Kill in Gansevoort is slowly dropping, it may be an option for folks that know of it.  The water has not produced anything notable, but there are good numbers of smaller stockies(if the stocking has occured) and always a few holdovers.  A friend of mine took a nice hookjaw brown below the first falls last year on opening day on a small spinner(as I remember it was gold with a gold blade). I snagged sticks all day.  Good luck.

Yes the snook is always fun to hit, I normally hit it about a dozen times or so.
Hookset, you got Friday off?  ???
