Fly Line Question?????
« on: May 24, 2009, 08:40 AM »
I just pick up a couple spools of Cortland 333+ Salmon Trolling Level Line 61/4 - 7" per second L8S.

Has anyone been using this and how do you like it? and is there  away of finding out your depth with it?

I like it but leadcore outfished it during the derby.Ive had it hit bottom in 25 ' at reg trolling speeds 1.5-2  mph w/ all 50 ft out. Hope that helps Tump.

Tumper,

I use this same line on my fly rods. I run 75' of flouro off the end of it and I troll live bait or lures with it. @ 1.5 mph you will be around 20-23' down.
You won't be dissapointed with it at all ;)
